We've come a long way "I want that image … I want that image." Before video integration, a surgeon viewing video in real time would click the foot pedal to cap- ture an image, and 2 copies would print: 1 for the paper chart and 1 to take to the lobby to show the patient's family. Not long ago, it was considered high-tech to print surgical images, and then scan them on a document scanner for integration into the EHR.
