Monopolar and Bipolar Energy Blades in One ENT System
Sinus surgeries often require a wide variety of cutting blades and tools for
each procedure. Now there's an ENT system from Olympus that offers both
monopolar and bipolar energy blades for hemostasis — as well as traditional standard shaver blades — providing specialists with a full array of surgery options using just one device. The Diego Elite Multidebrider is for sinus,
turbinate, tonsil, adenoid and laryngeal surgeries. By reducing bleeding and
improving coagulation performance, it significantly shortens surgery times
compared to those performed using standard blades, says the company.
