through a crash cart
looking for a drug or
device that could
save a patient's life.
That's why we put
descriptive labels on
each drawer of
every crash cart and
malignant hyper-
thermia cart in our
center. The labels
tell us exactly
what's in each
drawer and the size
of the item inside. For example, we keep 4 different sizes of
syringes in one drawer, so we wrote out each size in labels on the
front. Now when a nurse or doctor needs a syringe in a high-
stakes moment, they won't need to go through the whole cart to
find it.
