Our solution: We mounted a pullout cookbook holder underneath a cabinet in our pre-op area to give staff easy access to the quality log books (while protecting patient privacy) and a designated space between the 2 red strips of tape on the countertop beneath the cabinet to handle specimens as well as urine and blood lab tests.
