scope reprocessor (AER) with a built-in leak tester, since these
mechanical methods better catch the tiny holes where contami-
nants hide. "They're
much more efficient
and accurate than
having a tech hold
down a scope under-
water to check for
bubbles," she says.
"Anything that
streamlines and stan-
dardizes the process
while decreasing the
risk of human error
is beneficial."
