IDEAS That Work
PATIENT SAFETY
Crash Cart Ergonomics
D
oes it matter which way the defibrillator that sits atop your crash cart
faces? In an emergency, it sure
does. Your defibrillator should face away
from the drawers of the crash cart. This
will give you much more room to respond
quickly and efficiently, and let someone
get the needed meds and supplies without
interfering with any shocking that may be
indicated.
