Safely Draw Meds Using a Needle and Syringe
There's a new addition to Ansell's Sandel Engineered Sharps Injury
Prevention line: the Safety Shield, a needlestick barrier designed to reduce
accidental injuries caused when drawing medication from a vial using a
needle and syringe. It provides protection between the needle and the hand
holding the vial, reducing the risk of accidental injury to healthcare workers
and, in some cases, exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Unlike many needlestick-safety devices, it offers protection when the needle is in action, rather
