Examples: The staffer who covered another's patients during an unexpected absence, helped others to navigate the new EMR system or jump-started a patient escort's car; or the patient who wrote to thank the center for pre- and post-op warming efforts. After my remarks, we open the floor to staff members if they have good words to contribute. When you recognize positive behavior, you reinforce it.
