Ideas Work
That
W
hen you're about to start a product trial, and you're allow-
ing each company several weeks to show off its devices
and convince your surgeons and staff that its technology
is best, I'll bet the sales reps beg for the weeks they want. I'm also
guessing most reps want to go last, so their products leave a lasting
impression. To avoid those headaches, and to start off the trial on
your own terms, throw the reps' names into a hat and base the date
assignments on the order in which they're drawn. It's a fair — and
kind of fun — way to set the schedule.
