One area they wanted
to improve on was
how they track slips,
trips and falls. To do
this, the center
worked with their
employee health
department to create
a system that now
sends out real-time
notifications when
one of these events
occurs.
This notification sys-
tem sends emails to
the chair of the safety
committee, which
"has resulted in a
timely correction of
trip and fall hazards,"
says Ms. Groven.
