Dry Heat Sterilizer Eliminates Instrument Corrosion
The Cox Rapid Heat Model 6000 uses high-velocity hot air to sterilize instruments in minutes without
the use of water, thus eliminating instrument corrosion. It uses 375°F temperatures to sterilize
unwrapped instruments in 6 minutes and wrapped instruments in 12 minutes. Since the system does-
n't use water, the company says it prevents corrosion, pitting or dulling of your instruments while also
eliminating the need for a drying cycle.
