larly those that are saturated. Hospital/ASC mergers are the more common model, but ASC/ASC mergers deserve a look if you're in a competitive market where supply is beginning to exceed demand; strategically
recalibrating is a basic principle of good economics.
Before you start down such a road, however, it's important that both
parties have the same values and objectives. Yes, there will be some
temporary bumps, but with values, cultures and clinical standards
aligned, they won't end up derailing the process. As for this merger, we
envision a positive and fairly seamless event that will find the new entity in a more competitive market position going forward. OSM
