You don't blast music in patient rooms or listen to your MP3 when rounding — that would be rude. If you can't concentrate on your work without background noise, maybe you're not in the right profession. I've also noticed more goofing off, especially by younger surgeons who try to "perform" a song while performing surgery — totally disrespectful. No more music during our cases.
