FYI: This is a single-use video laryngoscope, although you'll still
need to reprocess the video screen. The blade and handle form
one continuous piece. The blades are interchangeable with both
a handheld video laryngoscope screen and a larger monitor. The
company claims its redesigned Mac blades follow the true
Macintosh blade design, preserving the muscle memory associ-
ated with direct laryngoscopy. The blades can easily withstand
the force needed to perform a typical intubation and are made
from an optical polymer, which the company says eliminates
deformation and sensitivity to cold temps while maintaining
rigidity. Available in three blade types: Macintosh 3 and 4, and the
company's own D-BLADE with short handle.
