Overseeing big-dollar budgets would be a full-time job for corpo-
rate CFOs, but you also manage the surgical team, make sure
patients are properly cared for and solve countless clinical con-
cerns. You're paid well, but does your compensation match those
significant responsibilities? According to the survey, 44% of ASC
administrators and 46% of hospital leaders earn six-figure salaries.
Most of the survey takers — 34% of ASC respondents and 36% of
hospital respondents — report earning between $90,000 and
$120,000. ASC leaders (42%) and hospital managers (43%) are gen-
erally satisfied with how much they earn.
The surgical leaders we surveyed and spoke to certainly believe
