Flexible Fluoroscopy
Hologic's newly
redesigned
Fluoroscan
InSight-FD is a
portable, small-foot-
print mini C-arm ideal
for ORs where space is
at a premium. You can have high-
resolution imaging at the lowest possible
dosage — "as low as reasonably achiev-
able," the company says — with maximum
flexibility for positioning patients' extremi-
ties. A redesigned tube source helps to
improve surgical visibility, and touchscreen
interface is easy to reposition, too. In other
words, this mini C-arm can help you cap-
ture the images you want with fewer intra-
operative adjustments.

System
With the
Medacta GMK
Efficiency Single-use Instrument Platform,
all of the necessary instruments for a total
knee replacement arrive tableside in an
easy-to-use tray system that takes up less
space than multi-case reusable instru-
ment systems. All Efficiency Instruments
are made from injection-molded, medical-
grade composite polymers that are pack-
aged terminally sterile in clear peel pack
blister trays. Efficiency instruments reduce
the risk of potential cross-contamination
from improper processing, reduce OR
turnover time and instrument reprocessing
costs, and solve many of the issues with
insufficient storage areas for reusable
instrument systems. Efficiency instru-
ments area always complete, sterile and
ready to go.
