This custom shoulder implant from Zimmer Biomet, called the Vault Reconstruction System (VRS), is the first patient- matched glenoid implant to treat patients with a severely deficient rotator cuff and extensive bone loss that precludes the use of a stan- dard glenoid baseplate. The VRS uses CT imaging and advanced 3D reconstruction techniques to let surgeons personalize each patient's implant in the hope of more predictable outcomes and results that extend beyond pain relief, says the company. zimmerbiomet.com
