FYI: The Evotech ECR features a rotating spray arm in each of its 2
independent basins to facilitate cleaning and prevent pooling under
the scope. To detect leaks and blockages, you can connect each endo-
scope channel to a separate pump before reprocessing. Windows on
top of the machine let you see the activity in each basin. At the end of
the cycle, alcohol is automatically flushed through each channel to
help facilitate drying. To prevent contamination, a foot pedal can be
used to open the lid. A computer tracks all critical cycle parameters,
and an optional bar code scanner lets you quickly enter endoscope
and other information.
