The second-generation, 2.9 mm Percuvance Percutaneous Surgical System features reusable handles and 7 disposable 5mm inter- changeable tool tips — including graspers, scissors, a dissector, electrocautery tools and a ligation clip applier. A new quick-connect system facilitates fast and secure tool-tip changes outside of the body, says the company, adding that smaller incisions could improve patient pain, cosmesis and satisfaction. Surgeons can use the instru- ments in common and advanced general laparoscopic procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, upper gastrointestinal, gas- tric, bariatric, colorectal and hernia cases. teleflex.com
