ant to keep your staff always in the loop?
E-mail them a quick numbered list of what's going on at
your facility every Monday. You might cover such topics as
how many and what type of cases are scheduled for the week, which
doctors will work the cases, the special needs of patients, which staff
are taking time off and changes to patient-care protocols. You can
also note upcoming social events so staff can make plans to attend.
PRNs or part-timers can read the e-newsletter at their convenience, so
they won't have to review notes in a communication book or ask
around to find out what they missed. Your full-timers will also like
staying up to date.
