PINPOINT is the only laparoscopic imaging system o ering
simultaneous real-time true HD white light and on-demand HD
fl uorescence imaging through a single laparoscope. PINPOINT allows
surgeons to visualize tissue perfusion and anatomical structures
in a variety of minimally invasive procedures.
PINPOINT provides:
• Targeted and on-demand HD fl uorescence imaging of tissue
perfusion and anatomy without surgical interruption
• Three unique operable fl uorescence imaging modes including:
PINPOINT fl uorescence mode, SPY fl uorescence mode and
SPY c o lo r - s e g m e nte d fl uo re s c e nc e ( CSF) mode
A multi-institutional study published in 2015 showed that the
use of PINPOINT in patients undergoing Low Anterior Resection
resulted in anastomotic leak rates of 1.4% compared to historic
rates of 11-15%.
