Store Laryngoscope Blades in Bubble Wrap
W
e've been using the same video laryngoscope with 3 blades for
close to 8 years. The fragile blades cost $5,000 to replace. To
protect the tips of the blades in storage, we place them in bub-
ble wrap envelopes, which you can buy at any business supply or shipping
store. The envelopes provide a little extra cushion when the blades are
kept next to the video laryngoscope on the airway emergency response
cart.
