Balancing your budget
Budget is often the first concern when it comes to purchasing new
technology for a regional anesthesia program, but don't forget that
you'll earn a return on your investment, both in the form of reimburse-
ments for ultrasound guidance and continuous catheter use as well as
indirect gains like improved pain scores and less narcotic use among
patients.
