staffers
prepare
for what to do in
the event of a
fire, we drill
using a Fire
Cone. When we
hold an unan-
nounced fire
drill, we place
the cone in an
area where the
"fire" is occur-
ring. Then, after
an employee dis-
covers the "fire,"
she removes the
decals on the
cone and per-
forms R.A.C.E — Rescue, Alarm, Contain and Extinguish. As she goes
through each step, she leaves the decal in the area where she per-
formed the action, like on the telephone after (pretending to) call 911
for the Alarm step.
