e often send our surgery patients home with Cryo/Cuff
ice wraps — the kind that use a canister filled with ice
water that keeps the wrap cold for several hours.
Generally you first fill the canister with ice, then water, to use the
wrap. But we've found that if you take a water bottle, freeze it and put
that in the canister with water, it helps simplify the process and won't
result in messy, melted ice everywhere.
