All-In-One Pencil Evacuates Smoke
Replace your cumbersome surgical smoke attachments with Buffalo Filter's new all-
in-one surgical plume evacuation pencil. While most electrosurgical pens or pencils
need adapters to capture smoke, the PlumePen Pro is a compact electrosurgical
pencil that features a built-in smoke evacuator to capture plume at the point of cre-
ation. The company says the pencil was designed to fit surgeons' preferences: Not
only is it slim and similar in size to conventional electrosurgical pencils, but it also
features a raised texture to improve a surgeon's grip and a 360-degree swivel to
allow for a free range of motion.
