ur pre-op nurses hang laminated yellow alert cards on IV
poles next to the beds of patients who need paperwork
completed or issues resolved before we roll them back for
surgery. That way, the circulating nurse knows she has to fill in the
missing documentation or address the patient's concerns. The alert
cards are a simple and effective way to keep your surgical schedule
on track.
