It Pays to Insulate Your Boiler Room
Too bad we didn't insulate all the pipes in our boiler room sooner. It was a hot and busy room, because the boiler both heats the building and runs our sterilizer units. Not only did the insulation reduce the heat in the room, making it easier to work there, it also reduced our energy expenses by $50,000 in the first year, which was 5 times the amount we paid to have the job done.
