Catheter Simplifies Barrett's Esophagus Treatment
Endoscopic surgeons and gastroenterologists can shorten their procedure times with Covidien's Barrx Channel RFA Endoscopic Catheter. The
Channel RFA device delivers RF technology through the working channel
of the endoscope, eliminating the need for multiple endoscope introductions and removals compared to other Barrx catheters. A 7.5mm-wide
electrode can easily pass through a 2.8mm-diameter endoscope working
channel. Other features and benefits include a transparent ablation electrode for enhanced visualization and a rotatable shaft design that provides additional control and maneuverability.
