patients. This can be as easy as storing patient data and contact info in
a secure Excel file. Contact the patient daily until the catheter is
removed, asking about the catheter site, pain score, current adjuncts
and how much volume is left in the pump. All of this information will
readily help troubleshoot issues that may arise. When the catheter is
pulled, the tip of the catheter should be visualized and verified. OSM
