ost regulatory bodies require your
a Peer Review Action Record. We
update this form as needed, using
it as a "physician's report card."
This form tracks hospital admissions, returns to OR, patient
injuries, retained foreign bodies,
post-op infection rates, medical record completions and conduct. We
assign each physician a "code number," so practice information and
name disclosure aren't issues when we refer to physicians. This is
very helpful during reappointment time, especially when you have
many physicians to re-credential. Surveyors will love to see this type
of tracking tool during your accreditation visit.
