Begin Patient Education Early

ive your patients the post-op instructions and post-op supply lists
when they schedule their surgery. If they choose to look them
over, they can be prepared for all their post-op needs before the
day of surgery. It also lets them ask pertinent questions. We give patients
a folder with 2 pockets: left side is pre-op instructions and labs; right side
is post-op instructions along with website addresses and phone numbers.
