a few minutes before the patient arrives.

Ahhh, A Nice Warm OR Bed
We place the forced-air warmer hose under the operating table's cover sheets before the patient arrives in the room so that the table will be warmed when he lies on the bed. Many of our patients express their appreciation when they move from the cold stretcher onto the warm bed.
