Page 12 LETTERS & E-Mails letters@outpatientsurgery.net Was Positioning Cover Photo Degrading? ◗ Although I did not even notice as a surgeon, some of our female employees were mildly but not militantly offended by the June cover photo showing 3 men positioning an obviously female patient. Our staff includes male and female members, and their first impression was, "Oh my gosh, I can't believe they put that on the cover." I wouldn't even like to see it inside the issue. Very poor choice. You could have chosen hundreds of other photos, and still relayed the message adequately. Did a man pick the photo? Our staff feel that this is very demoralizing for women. Otherwise, we love the magazine.
