Page 17 IDEAS THAT WORK WRONG-SITE SURGERY IV Bag Stickers ID Correct Site A simple way to help prevent wrongsite surgery: On your IV bags, place big, bright stickers that identify the correct surgical site. It's a quick visual reminder for all in the OR to see. We're an all-orthopedic surgery center, so we have tags for each site: right and left knee, elbow, shoulder and ankle, for example. It's just one more way to make the "right" site stand out. VISUAL REMINDER A sticker on the IV bag confirms the correct surgical site.
