Then there's another 15-minute cycle for the irrigator channel. I set a timer for 15 minutes so I can do other things while the scopes are drying. We let the water bottle tops dry all night with lower pressure air. We hang dry scopes in the cupboards at day's end. Thanks to the manifold system, it doesn't take us nearly as long to ensure that our scopes' channels are clear of residual water that could cause harmful bacteria to grow while the instruments are stored between uses.
