complemented by large, wall-mounted, flat-screen HD monitors in the
OR but outside the sterile field that everyone can easily view throughout the case. As mentioned, we can send PACS and video to these
screens, thanks to integration.
• Streaming connection. This lets us broadcast outside the OR for
teaching purposes internally and around the world. Users have usernames and passwords, which protects patient confidentiality. Because
the streaming video is recorded and saved, a surgeon can access the
video later, and even show it to patients at follow-up visits.
• Server storage. The servers that store all the video files are kept
