Reprocess Fluid Waste System
Manifolds
If you use the Neptune II fluid waste management
system, you no longer have to dispose of its manifolds between cases, thanks to Evolve Surgical's
new reprocessing program. Evolve collects used
manifolds weekly, and then sends them out for
cleaning and disinfecting. You receive
reprocessed manifolds, packaged 40 to a box,
back from Evolve Surgical 24 hours after collection at about half the cost of new. Evolve supplies
collection bins and provides on-site training.
Reprocessing manifolds diverts thousands of
pounds of non-biodegradable plastic from landfills
and can save facilities hundreds of thousands of
dollars in supply costs, says the company.
