motor (that increases cuts per minute from 12,000 to 16,000) and a new blade that, according to the company, combine to create a 58% faster cut. The tools are 20% smaller and nearly 30% lighter than the previous generation and provide improved power-to-weight ratio for upgraded torque and high-speed precision, says Stryker.
The tools run on industry-standard, proprietary lithium-ion batteries available in large and small sizes that feature longer run times than the company's previous batteries. When charging, the batteries transfer performance data collected from handpieces for remote diagnosis by Stryker service teams, which the company says identify potential performance issues, help troubleshoot basic problems and track handpiece usage for improved inventory management and decreased
