More Precise Ophthalmic Knives
The blades on the new Sharpoint Edge Clear Control 3D Plus line of
phaco incision knives feature vertical micro bevels that make 3-
dimensional incisions, giving surgeons more control and sharper
cuts with less penetration force than standard ophthalmic blades.
The beveled design also reduces stress on wound margins and
makes it easier to insert and manipulate instruments through the
resulting incision. The blades are 0.13mm thick, thinner than stan-
dard 0.17mm slit knives, and are available in 1.6mm to 3.2mm sizes.
