The responding staff member should hook up the vital signs monitor and assist anes- thesia as needed. 5. Call the MH Hotline. Make sure the hotline's number (800-644-9737) is on the card and the staff member stays on the line to relay instructions. 6. Get more dantrolene and diluent (sterile water). List the phone extensions for the main pharmacy and other depart- ments where these supplies are stored. 7. Get insulin, a glucose monitor and other supplies as needed. Note the loca- tion where these items can be found. The idea for the cards came from a staff member who said after a response, "Just give me one specific thing to do."
