Sony's MCC-1000MD surgical video camera delivers detailed, high-
quality video, even in low-light conditions where it's hard to place
direct light within the surgical site. It's ideally suited for such micro-
surgical applications as ophthalmology and neurology. A separate C-
mount head lets you mount the 2-piece full HD camera on most sur-
gical microscopes. It has several modes, including high dynamic
range, and can capture surgical images with an expanded contrast
range, making it ideal for viewing wet, glossy or heavily shadowed
structures, says the company.
