surgery nutrition drinks at pre-op screenings

Stony Brook University Hospital, they instruct
patients to drink 1 300-ml bottle of a complex
carbohydrate drink the night before surgery
and a second 300-ml bottle the next morning
at least 2 hours before their scheduled proce-
dure.
