to try to improve

based software package that, according to a company rep, cre-
ates role-specific workflows for every member of the OR team,
based on surgeon preferences. ExplORer Surgical can also
show photos of how the Mayo stand should look, how the patient
should be positioned, and so forth. Time is money, especially in
the OR, and they say they can save a lot by reducing delays and
disruptions, cutting down on wasted disposables and reducing
setup time. As an educational tool for OR personnel who want to
see how a procedure is going to work from start to finish, I think
it has the potential to be hugely helpful.
